Walk-in Centres

Walk-in centres offer fast access to health advice and treatment. They are open to anyone on a drop-in basis. They provide minor treatments, information about local health services and self-help advice. Walk-in centres are open seven days a week, from 7.00 am to 10.00pm, with no appointment needed. They are mainly nurse-led. There are currently fourteen walk-in centres in London. The nearest to the Courtyard Surgery is:

Tooting NHS Walk-in Centre
Clare House
St George's Hospital
Blackshaw Road

London SW17 0QT
 Tel: 0208 700 0505

7.00am to 10.00pm

Please remember that your appointment with the doctor is for 10 minutes. Doctors try very hard to keep to time so that patients are not delayed. Their clinics run for up to 4 hours and they see patients every 10 minutes during this time. If you have a number of routine problems you need to discuss, you may need to book more than one appointment to avoid the doctor running late.

Thank you
