Baby Clinics

Maternity Services
The doctors provide antenatal and postnatal care. Please make an appointment. If this is for your first antenatal appointment, please ensure you book a double appointment.
Blood Tests
Our health care assistant is available by appointment every weekday morning for taking blood samples.
Family Planning
We provide a full family planning service. Please advise reception if your appointment is for family planning as you may need a double appointment reserved for this. You can also access family planning and well woman checks at any of the following clinics:

Emergency Contraception
Emergency contraception is available here at the surgery from any of the GPs. If the surgery is closed and you require emergency contraception, you can either phone our out-of-hours provider SELDOC on 020 8693 9066 or you can attend Phillips Pharmacy at 46 Poynders Road or Boyes Pharmacy at 61 Balham Hill. Alternatively, you can ask NHS Direct for advice on 0845 46 47 or through the website www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
Travel Advice
Our practice nurses offer a full range of travel advice and travel immunisations
and we are a registered Yellow Fever Centre. Please see the nurse two months
before you plan to travel as travel appointments are limited. Alternatively,
you can access travel immunisations at The South London Travel Centre, Myatts
Field Health Centre, Foxley Square, London SW9 7RX, Tel: 020 7091 1661.
The centre is open every weekday between 8.45am - 1.00pm and 2.00 - 6.00pm.
Specialised Clinics
Our nurse runs clinics for blood pressure, asthma, diabetes and healthy hearts.
Smoking Cessation
Our health care assistant and a nurse both offer appointments for patients wishing to give up smoking. Please make yourself an appointment.
Counselling
We offer a counselling service at the practice. If you think you may benefit from some talking therapy, please ask the doctor or nurse to refer you.
Substance Misuse and Alcohol Clinic
This service is available on referral from your doctor. We hold a weekly clinic with the support of a drug specialist from the Community Liaison Addiction Service.
Health Checks
Patients between the ages of 16 - 74 who have not been seen at the surgery for a period of three years may request a consultation with a GP, at which any appropriate enquiries and investigations
will be made. Consultations can also be requested by patients over the age of 75 not seen at the surgery for 12 months. Consultations for the over 75s may take place in the home of the patient where appropriate.
